Ms. Tarverspent most of her childhood in Natchez, Mississippi prior to moving to New Orleans. Before joining the firm, Ms. Tarver was a partner at Taggart Morton, L.L.C., in New Orleans Louisiana, for 2 months shy of 5 years,where her practice included Commercial and Business Litigation, Successions and Estates, Franchise Law and Immigration.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Orleans, where she majored in Sociology and Political Science and minored in English. Ms. Tarver graduated from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans in 2005 and received her Juris Doctorate in Civil Law and a certificate in International Law. Ms. Tarver studied law abroad at EotvosLorand University School of Law, Budapest, Hungary in 2002; the University of Vienna Law School in 2003; Rome University of Law in 2004; and attended the Loyola University School of Law-European Union Law Studies program in Brussels, Strasbourg, and Luxembourg in 2004.

Ms. Tarver is an experienced trial attorney in both state and federal courts. Her areas of practice include corporate and business litigation, construction litigation, labor and employment law, and franchising law. Ms. Tarver represents local governmental entities.

She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and all Louisiana state courts.
